The Details

The Postnatal Doula Academy is a postnatal training course with a difference.

The Postnatal Doula Academy is committed to being inclusive for all people who birth, and in addition to the foundation training; there will be mandatory workshops on inclusivity, cultural awareness and bias awareness.

Once accepted onto the Academy, you'll be able to join the Facebook group to meet your fellow Academy buddies. You'll be set a small piece of coursework to completed prior to the course.

Practice Pathway

This is your chance, as a practicing Postnatal Doula, to join the newest doula community in town.

The practice pathway offers you the opportunity to be part of a community of Postnatal Doulas ready to change the narrative of postpartum life for all birthing people.

To be eligible, you must have either completed a postnatal doula training course or be a practicing postnatal doula.

Joining the Postnatal Doula Academy through the practice pathway gets you access to:

The Facebook group - a thriving community space, to share your successes, find out the latest postnatal news and events, share client work opportunities, take part in lively discussions.
The mandatory workshops - if you’ve not attended the mandatory workshops before then you get a spot at the inclusivity, cultural awareness and bias awareness workshops. These are highly sought-after courses, so you don’t have to worry about setting an alarm to grab a spot at their open workshops - you’ve automatically got your spot!
Monthly Zooms - this is where you get to have face-to-face time with the Academy community. Find your peer support, set the agenda for future spotlight sessions and connect with like-minded doulas.
Spotlight sessions - ongoing CPD in the form of online workshops. You’ll learn from some of the best people in both the postnatal and business worlds. Because, as well as being on top of our postnatal game, we also need to know how to run successful businesses, right?!

The investment for the practice pathway is £500. Payment plans are as follows:
